wooga-Logo-1Social games developer Wooga has revealed that its revenue is split 50/50 between web and mobile, just 14 months after launching its first mobile game, Diamond Dash.

Wooga founder and CEO Jens Begemann heralded the new “mobile era” of gaming as his company unveiled three new games: Kingsbridge, Pearl’s Peril and Pocket Village. Existing web franchise Monster World is also set to launch on iOS.

“Over those two years we’ve focused on bringing our web games to an even broader audience while making the very best social games for mobile,” Begemann said. “We’re happy that we made the move to mobile as early as we did because the lessons we’ve learnt have helped us to make even better games”.

The three new games see the company moving into different genres, with strategy title Kingsbridge being Wooga’s first ‘mid-core’ title.

Wooga has recently signalled a broader focus on platforms, with Diamond Dash set to arrive on Kindle Fire HD in March. The developer has also announced that it will be bringing its most successful titles to Android.
